Lando Norris continued his incredible run of form by beating championship leader Kimi Antonelli to victory at the Dutch Grand Prix, claiming his second consecutive race win at Zandvoort.

Starting from pole, Norris produced a composed drive around the demanding Zandvoort circuit and kept Antonelli behind him throughout the race. The McLaren driver managed the pressure perfectly to secure another crucial victory in the championship battle.

Antonelli pushed hard in the closing stages but was unable to find a way past Norris. The Mercedes driver settled for second, collecting valuable points while maintaining his position at the top of the Drivers’ Championship.

George Russell completed the podium for Mercedes after another strong weekend. Having won Saturday’s Sprint, Russell continued his impressive form by securing another podium finish in the main race.

Charles Leclerc finished fourth for Ferrari, while Oscar Piastri brought the second McLaren home in fifth. Lewis Hamilton followed in sixth for Ferrari, with Max Verstappen finishing seventh in front of his home crowd.

The race also featured drama for several drivers, but Norris remained calm throughout and never allowed the pressure from Antonelli to turn into a serious threat.

The victory is Norris’ second in a row after his breakthrough win in Hungary, giving the McLaren driver huge momentum as the championship enters another crucial stage.

For Antonelli, second place still represents another strong result, but Norris is now rapidly closing the gap at the top of the standings.

With Norris finding his best form at exactly the right time, Antonelli continuing to lead the championship and Russell also fighting his way into the title picture, the battle for the 2026 crown is becoming increasingly intense.
