Olhuveli secured their place in the Resort League 2026 South Malé Zone final after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over JW Marriott in the second semi-final.

After a goalless first half, both teams continued to battle for the breakthrough, with neither side able to find the net for most of the second period.

The decisive moment finally came at the end of the second half, when Mohamed Ameem Ibrahim scored the only goal of the match to give Olhuveli a dramatic 1-0 victory.

Hassan Suhail was recognised for his impressive performance and named Player of the Match.

Olhuveli had reached the semi-finals after defeating Bolifushi 2-0 in the quarter-final, while JW Marriott booked their place in the last four with a 2-1 victory over The Marina.

The victory sets up an exciting final between Olhuveli and Hard Rock, with the championship decider scheduled for 3 September 2026.

Hard Rock reached the final after defeating Maadhoo 5-1 in the first semi-final, setting the stage for an all-out battle for the Resort League South Malé Zone title.
