President and First Lady receive ceremonial welcome in India

President His Excellency Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Madam Sajidha Mohamed were accorded a ceremonial welcome this morning at Rashtrapati Bhavan, in New Delhi, India.
The President and First Lady were officially received by Indian President Her Excellency Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister His Excellency Narendra Modi.
Upon arrival, a 21-gun salute was conferred on President Dr Muizzu. The President also inspected the Guard of Honour at the ceremony.
After the welcoming ceremony, the President and First Lady visited Raj Ghat to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.
