Bandos booked their place in the Resort League 2026 quarter-finals with a commanding 7–0 victory over Kurumba in the North Male Zone Group B.

Bandos dominated from the opening whistle and took a 3–0 lead into half-time. They continued their strong attacking display after the break, adding four more goals to complete a convincing seven-goal victory.

Maahee Mufeed and Mohamed Ikraam both scored twice for Bandos, while Ahmed Reehaan, Shayaan Umar and Hassan Maaidh Mohamed each found the net once.

Maahee Mufeed was rewarded for his impressive performance by being named Player of the Match.

Bandos had opened their Group B campaign with a 3–0 victory over Ritz-Carlton, while Kurumba suffered a 3–1 defeat to Oaga in their opening match.

Following the result, Bandos move to the top of Group B with six points from two matches, with a superior goal difference, and have confirmed their place in the quarter-finals.

Kurumba, meanwhile, have suffered their second consecutive defeat and remain at the bottom of the group. They have been eliminated from quarter-final qualification with one group-stage match remaining.

The Resort League 2026, hosted by Bandos Maldives, is being held from 11 to 28 September, with 15 teams competing across four groups. The top two teams from Groups A, B and C will advance, while group winners qualify directly for the quarter-finals. In Group D, the second- and third-placed teams will play a playoff for the remaining quarter-final spot.
