
Hard Rock secured their place in the semi-finals of the Resort League South Malé Zone with a convincing 3–1 victory over Anantara in the second quarter-final.
Hard Rock made a strong start, taking the lead in the 6th minute through Ahmed Masheedh. They maintained their advantage until half-time, going into the break 1–0 ahead.
Hard Rock extended their lead in the 27th minute of the second half, with Ahmed Ashraf Yoosuf finding the net to make it 2–0.
Anantara responded six minutes later when Aboobakuru Ibrahim scored their only goal of the match, reducing the deficit to 2–1 and giving his side hope of a comeback.
However, Hard Rock remained composed and sealed the victory in second-half stoppage time, with Hussain Affash scoring their third goal to make it 3–1.
Ahmed Masheedh was named Player of the Match after his impressive performance, including the opening goal.
The result sends Hard Rock into the semi-finals, while Anantara's campaign comes to an end at the quarter-final stage.
