Olhuveli have secured their place in the Resort League South Malé Zone quarter-finals after defeating SAii Lagoon 2–0 in the playoff round.

Olhuveli, who finished third in Group A, faced Group B runners-up SAii Lagoon in a crucial playoff encounter, with a place in the quarter-finals at stake.

After a goalless first half, Olhuveli broke the deadlock just three minutes into the second half. Mohamed Vigaam found the back of the net to give his side a 1–0 advantage.

SAii Lagoon pushed for an equaliser but could not break through Olhuveli’s defence. In second-half stoppage time, Vigaam struck again to complete his brace and seal a convincing 2–0 victory.

The win sends Olhuveli through to the quarter-finals, while SAii Lagoon’s Resort League campaign comes to an end in the playoff stage.

Vigaam’s two goals proved decisive as Olhuveli produced a strong second-half performance to continue their pursuit of the South Malé Zone title.
