
Maradhoo Street Challenge 2026.
The Maradhoo Street Challenge 2026 continued last night with three matches played, producing two narrow victories and a goalless draw as the group-stage battle intensified.
In Group B, Habeys NG and FC Habeys played out a 0–0 draw in a closely fought encounter. Neither side managed to break the deadlock, with Ibrahim Mubeen earning the Player of the Match award.
Action then continued in Group C, where Club Lothari secured a narrow 1–0 victory over FC Shikai. Mohamed Zaahil Sameeu scored the only goal of the match to give Lothari all three points, while Hassan Sahaaf was named Player of the Match.
In the other Group C match played last night, Lona SC edged Club 19030 1–0. Hussain Suhail scored the decisive goal just three minutes into the second half to secure the win for Lona SC. Akram Abdul Rasheed was named Player of the Match.
One scheduled Group C fixture was also recorded as a forfeit, after OTF SC were unable to field the required five players for their match against Crows FC. The result was therefore recorded as a 2–0 victory for Crows FC.
The Maradhoo Street Challenge 2026, organised by Maradhoo United Sports Club, is regarded as the biggest street soccer tournament in the Maldives. This year's competition features 16 teams, divided into four groups, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the quarter-finals.
The tournament is scheduled to run from 20 to 27 August 2026, with teams now battling for their places in the knockout stage.
