Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef emphasized the Administration's unwavering commitment to the 'Maldives First Policy' in a video message commemorating the National Day of Maldives.

In his address, the Vice President highlighted President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's strong dedication to safeguarding the nation's independence and sovereignty. He praised the President's firm measures to protect national autonomy and called on all citizens to remain united and work collaboratively to uphold this priority.

The Vice President stressed the importance of national unity and the collective responsibility of preserving the country's freedom. He urged the public to draw inspiration from national heroes like Bodu Thakurufaanu and to nurture future leaders committed to defending the nation’s interests.

Concluding his message, the Vice President extended National Day greetings to all Maldivians and encouraged them to cherish their country and diligently serve the nation. He also shared a National Day message on the social media platform 'X' on Tuesday, extending his felicitations to the citizens.
