PPM's ideology does not belong to any individual, said the President DrMohamed Muizzu's Special Advisor Abdul Raheem Abdulla.
In a post on X, he said the PPM's ideology is not the property of an individual, it is the ideology of nationalism.
"The ideology will always be in the hands of those who work for the country and its people," he said.
Adhurey Said current leader of that ideology is President Dr. Muizzu.
His comments came at a time when supporters of former president Yameen Abdul Gayoom are saying that the ideology of the ruling party,PPM is in the hands of President Yameen and now the ideology of the Progressive Alliance (PPM/PNC) is not the party's ideology.
The progressive coalition is now dominated by those in power. President Dr Mohamed Muizzu is leading the coalition. President Muizzu is the president of the PNC.
