BML’s New Self-Service ATM in Dh. Bandidhoo Inaugurated

A new Bank of Maldives (BML) self-service banking ATM has been launched in Dh. Bandidhoo, further enhancing banking accessibility for the island’s residents. The new ATM was officially inaugurated by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu at a ceremony held this morning.

Speaking at the event, BML’s CEO and Managing Director, Mohamed Shareef, emphasized the bank’s commitment to expanding financial services across the country. He stated that the introduction of self-service banking in Bandidhoo is part of BML’s broader efforts to ensure banking services are accessible to all Maldivians. He noted that the new ATM would allow residents to conduct their banking on the island itself, eliminating the need for costly and time-consuming travel.

With this latest expansion, BML continues to strengthen its position as the leading financial institution in the Maldives. The bank now operates 39 branches across all 20 atolls, along with 97 self-service banking centres, 154 ATMs, comprehensive agent banking services, and advanced digital banking solutions.
