Maldives Foreign Minister Zameer Meets UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister

Maldives' Minister of Foreign Affairs, Moosa Zameer, met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, today during his official visit to the UAE.
The meeting, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abu Dhabi, included the formal delivery of a letter from President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu addressed to the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During their discussions, the two ministers explored ways to strengthen the longstanding friendship and cooperation between the Maldives and the UAE. Minister Zameer expressed his gratitude for the UAE's continued support and close partnership over the years. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to collaborate closely on bilateral and international issues of mutual interest.
Minister Zameer was accompanied by a delegation that included the Maldives' Ambassador to the UAE, Mohamed Hussain Shareef; Ambassador-at-Large, Ahmed Naseer; Secretary for Bilateral Affairs, Dr. Hala Hameed; Joint Secretary, Mariyam Reesha; and Deputy Ambassador Hassaan Waheed.
