North Malé Zone: Patina completed a remarkable comeback to defeat Oaga 4–1 in the final quarter-final of the Resort League 2026, securing their place in the semi-finals.

Oaga started strongly and took a deserved lead in the 8th minute when Hussain Maishan found the net. Oaga held on to their advantage until half-time, going into the break 1–0 ahead.

Patina responded immediately after the restart. Just one minute into the second half, Ibrahim Wajeeh scored the equaliser, with Moosa Humedih providing the assist.

Seven minutes later, Maadhih Wajeeh completed Patina's comeback by scoring their second goal and putting them 2–1 ahead.

Patina continued to dominate the closing stages. Moosa Humedih extended their advantage in the 34th minute of the second half before Maadhih Wajeeh scored his second goal just a minute later to complete Patina's 4–1 victory.

Maadhih Wajeeh was named Player of the Match after his two-goal performance.

Patina entered the knockout stage as Group D winners with two wins from two matches, while Oaga qualified as Group B runners-up with three wins from three matches.

The victory sends Patina through to the semi-finals, completing the quarter-final stage of the Resort League 2026.

The tournament, hosted by Bandos Maldives, is scheduled from 11 to 28 September 2026, with 15 teams competing across four groups. The top two teams from Groups A, B and C qualify for the knockout stage, with group winners advancing directly to the quarter-finals. In Group D, the second- and third-placed teams play a playoff for the remaining quarter-final spot.
