Track and Field Association, Runinmode Win Inaugural BML WeRun Corporate Relay

The Track and Field Association and Runinmode Club were crowned champions of the inaugural BML WeRun Corporates, the Maldives' first-ever corporate relay race, held at Crossroads Maldives.

The event featured both Men's and Women's 5K Relay competitions, bringing together 18 teams from the corporate and sporting communities.

A total of 11 teams competed in the men's division, while seven teams took part in the women's division. Each team consisted of five athletes, with every runner completing a 1-kilometre leg to complete the 5K relay.

Track and Field Association Take Men's Title

The Track and Field Association dominated the men's competition, winning the 5K relay with an impressive time of 19 minutes and 54 seconds.

Runinmode Club finished second in 21 minutes and 53 seconds, while the host sponsor BML secured third place with a time of 22 minutes and 50 seconds.

Runinmode Club Triumph in Women's Race

Runinmode Club completed a memorable day by claiming the women's championship, crossing the finish line in 28 minutes and 44 seconds.

Crossroads Island Sprinters took second place with a time of 43 minutes and 41 seconds, while Team ADK finished third in 44 minutes and 29 seconds.

MVR 20,000 for Champions

The winners of each category received MVR 20,000, while the second-placed teams earned MVR 15,000 and the third-placed teams received MVR 10,000.

Podium finishers were also presented with finisher medals in recognition of their performances.

The first edition of BML WeRun Corporates marked a new chapter for corporate running in the Maldives, combining competition, fitness and teamwork through a relay format where every athlete's contribution was crucial to the team's final result.
