Brazilian volleyball attacker Luiz Felipe Perotto has arrived in the Maldives to join Dhivehi Sifainge Club (DSC) ahead of the VAM Cup 2026, returning to the champions after a memorable 2025 campaign.

Perotto arrived in the Maldives this morning after DSC brought back the Brazilian star to strengthen their squad for the upcoming VAM Cup 2026.

The attacker has already enjoyed considerable success in the region. In the 2024 edition, Perotto represented eventual champions Calicut Heroes, playing an important role in their title-winning campaign. He contributed 53 points and recorded an impressive digging success ratio of around 70 percent.

In the 2025 season, Perotto initially played for the Chennai Blitz before joining Dhivehi Sifainge Club in the Maldives.

His arrival proved to be a major boost for DSC as the club went on to create history by completing a domestic treble, winning all three major men's volleyball titles in the Maldives — the MILO VAM Cup, National Volleyball League and National Volleyball Championship.

Perotto also enjoyed remarkable individual success during DSC's treble-winning campaign, being named the Best Foreign Player in all three competitions.

With the Brazilian attacker now back in Malé, DSC will be looking to build on their historic 2025 season and defend their dominance in the upcoming VAM Cup.

Perotto's return adds further firepower and experience to a DSC side aiming to begin another season with silverware.
