MIFCO Opens First Outlet Outside Malé Region in Addu City

Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO) has officially opened its very first fish shop outside the Greater Malé area, located in Hithadhoo, Addu City.
The new retail outlet was officially inaugurated last night by the Minister of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Fitness, Abdulla Rafiu. Situated along the Link Road near the MIFCO Ice Plant in Hithadhoo, the shop is now fully open to the public and stocked with MIFCO's complete lineup of seafood products.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, MIFCO Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Mohamed Anas highlighted the historic ties between Addu City, the domestic fishing industry, and MIFCO. He noted that the company is incredibly proud to launch its first regional flagship store in a community that contributes so heavily to the nation's fisheries sector.
