Officials Praise Police Divers for Missing Italian Tourists Search

Minister of Homeland Security and Technology Ali Ihusaan and Commissioner of Police Ahmed Mohamed have officially met with the specialized police diving team involved in the high-risk search operation for the Italian tourists who went missing in an underwater cave near V. Alimatha.

The meeting, held yesterday at the Commissioner’s Office, was also attended by Deputy Commissioner of Police Farhad Fikury along with several executive officers of the police service.

During the meeting, Minister Ihusaan and Commissioner Mohamed highly praised the diving team for their immense bravery and tireless efforts under challenging underwater conditions. They commended the officers' unwavering determination throughout the complex search and recovery operation.

The leadership concluded the gathering by encouraging the diving unit and the wider force to remain steadfast and dedicated to their legal duties and to continuous public service.
