Ooredoo Maldives Launches New Roaming Data Add Ons for Travelers

Ooredoo Maldives has introduced new roaming data add ons for both postpaid and prepaid customers, aimed at making it easier and more affordable to stay connected while abroad.

The company said customers can instantly activate roaming services through the Ooredoo app, selecting from a range of data plans including day passes, two week packs and four week packs. The new options allow travelers to choose plans that best suit their travel duration and data requirements, while benefiting from competitive pricing and real time usage tracking.

For postpaid customers, roaming add ons are available in 35 countries. These include 4 GB for four weeks at MVR 375, 2 GB for four weeks at MVR 400, 2 GB for two weeks at MVR 200, 5 GB for four weeks at MVR 750, and a 1 GB day pass priced at MVR 99.

Prepaid roaming add ons are available in 13 countries. Options include 2 GB for two weeks at MVR 250 and a 1 GB day pass at MVR 99.

Ooredoo noted that the new roaming add ons are designed to enhance the travel experience for customers who wish to explore new destinations, work remotely, share moments with family and friends, and stay connected through navigation and essential travel applications.
