Team Sea Stag Wins Youth Hackathon 2025 with Innovative Tech Solutions

The Youth Hackathon 2025 concluded this weekend with Team Sea Stag securing first place and a cash prize of USD 6,484.52. The three-day event brought together 85 young participants who presented project pitches across four thematic areas, showcasing their skills in coding and technology.

The hackathon, held from Thursday to Saturday, concluded with a closing ceremony where Team Wave Minds was awarded second place with USD 4,863.39, and Team Six Seven placed third, receiving USD 3,242.26 along with gifts from sponsors.

Speaking at the event, Minister of Youth Empowerment, Information and Arts Ibrahim Waheed highlighted the importance of the hackathon as a platform for young professionals to advance their careers in the information technology sector, while fostering innovation and skills development.

The ministry noted that initiatives like the Youth Hackathon also play a key role in identifying national priorities, as participants’ proposals addressed pressing societal challenges and demonstrated the potential of youth-led technology solutions to contribute meaningfully to national development.
