Bank of Maldives Welcomes New Batch of Interns Under Annual Internship Programme

Bank of Maldives (BML) has welcomed a new batch of interns under its annual internship programme at a special ceremony held by the Bank.
This year, BML welcomed 25 interns, comprising graduate interns and Techstart interns. Techstart is a newly introduced category aimed at IT students, providing them with specialised opportunities to gain practical industry experience.
The 12 month internship programme offers participants hands on exposure across various business units and branches of the Bank, along with a monthly allowance.
During the ceremony, BML also celebrated interns who graduated from the 2024 internship programme, with several graduates being offered permanent positions at the Bank.
Launched in 2018, the BML Internship Programme has supported a total of 77 interns to date, reflecting the Bank’s continued commitment to youth development and talent building in the Maldives.
