Alila Kothaifaru Maldives, in collaboration with BRICS Entertainment, is set to host world-renowned Swiss cellist JODOKCELLO, as part of his “Barefoot in the Sand Tour”, a global journey celebrating authenticity, artistry, and human connection.

Born in the serene hills of Emmental, Switzerland, Jodok Vuille, known to the world as JODOKCELLO, has reimagined how audiences experience classical music. Performing barefoot and crafting his own instruments, his unique style bridges raw emotion and profound artistry—earning him a global following of over 15 million fans.

JODOKCELLO’s artistry has seen collaborations with Mercedes-Benz, Swatch Group, FC Barcelona, Alan Walker, IL VOLO, and Lindsey Stirling, making him one of Switzerland’s most influential cultural figures.

As part of his 3-year worldwide journey, JODOKCELLO will perform an intimate live set at Alila Kothaifaru Maldives on October 18, during the resort’s management cocktails. The performance promises to be a rare, soulful encounter that intertwines music, nature, and emotion against the Maldivian sunset.
