Visit Maldives and Liverpool FC Kick Off ‘Penalty to Paradise’ Campaign

Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC), in collaboration with Liverpool Football Club (LFC), has launched an innovative global campaign titled “Penalty to Paradise,” merging the excitement of football with the beauty of Maldivian luxury travel.

Running from October 2025 to January 2026, the four-month campaign invites LFC Members worldwide to take part in a sudden-death penalty shootout competition, where each missed shot means elimination. The ultimate winner will earn an exclusive trip to the Maldives, combining the thrill of victory with the serenity of paradise.

In addition to the main competition, the campaign will feature Maldives-themed challenges, interactive experiences, and exclusive content designed to engage fans and bring them closer to both Liverpool FC and the Maldives.

The campaign will be amplified across all LFC digital platforms—including Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube, and liverpoolfc.com—reaching millions of passionate supporters worldwide.

The initiative builds on the official global partnership between Visit Maldives and Liverpool FC, which began in March 2025. As the club’s Official Tourist Destination Partner for the 2025–2028 seasons, the Maldives brand continues to gain visibility through LED branding at Anfield Stadium, live match exposure, and extensive digital reach.

The winner of the ‘Penalty to Paradise’ challenge will be announced in December 2025, marking the grand finale of a campaign that seamlessly unites the spirit of football with the magic of the Maldives.
