Speed Launch Catches Fire and Sinks at AA. Himandhoo

A speed launch caught fire at AA. Himandhoo port early this morning and later sank, according to police reports.
Authorities received reports of the fire at 5:50 a.m., and due to the swift joint efforts of the police, island council, and local residents, the fire was successfully extinguished by 6:26 a.m.
At the time of the incident, the launch had four people on board—the captain, two crew members, and a child. While all individuals sustained minor injuries, police confirmed that there were no major injuries.
The vessel was completely burnt beyond use and later sank into the port following the fire.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire, and further details are expected as inquiries continue.
