FM Dr. Khaleel Arrives in Antalya for the 4th Antalya Diplomacy Forum

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Dr. Abdulla Khaleel, arrived in Antalya, Türkiye today to attend the fourth edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. Dr. Khaleel’s visit comes at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, as the Forum seeks to address critical global issues under the theme, “Reclaiming Diplomacy in a Fragmented World”. The event will be held from April 11 to 13, 2025, at the NEST Convention Centre in Antalya.
As part of the Forum, Dr. Khaleel is scheduled to participate in a high-level panel discussion titled “Geostrategic Dynamics in the Asia-Pacific”, where he will contribute insights on the evolving geopolitical landscape in the region. The Maldives' Foreign Minister will also engage in bilateral meetings with counterparts from friendly nations, aiming to foster deeper cooperation and dialogue on global and regional challenges.
Dr. Khaleel’s participation in the Forum underscores the Maldives’ continued commitment to promoting multilateralism and collaborative diplomacy as key tools for addressing the challenges of an increasingly fragmented world. The Maldives seeks to play an active role in shaping international discussions, especially on issues affecting the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
