Maldives Meteorological Office issued white alert as heavy rain is expected.

MET Office issued white alert in between Haa Alif atoll and Vaavu atoll.

MET office stated this alert is issued till 20:00 hrs tonight and its expected heavy rainfall and thunderstorm.

Authorities have urged everyone, especially seafarers, to pay special attention to the weather during this time of bad weather in the Maldives.
