Immigration Reach Women’s Final After Thriller

Immigration produced another impressive performance to reach the BML One Game Inter-Office Beach Handball Women’s Division final, defeating STELCO 2–1 in a thrilling semi-final.
Immigration narrowly won the opening set 09–08, but STELCO fought back strongly to take the second set 16–14, forcing a deciding shootout.
Immigration held their nerve when it mattered most, winning the shootout 06–03 to seal a 2–1 victory and book their place in the final.
Fathimath Arusha was named Player of the Match after scoring an impressive 15 goals for Immigration. Goalkeeper Mariyam Leen Ahmed also played a crucial role, making five outstanding saves to help Immigration secure the victory.
STELCO's Fathimath Lym Bint Yasir also scored 15 goals, but her efforts were not enough to stop Immigration from completing their remarkable run to the final.
Immigration had earlier defeated RDC 2–0 in the quarter-final, while STELCO reached the semi-final after overcoming Customs 2–1.
Immigration's victory sets up a Women’s Division final against WAMCO, who defeated MTCC 2–0 in the other semi-final. The final will see two of the tournament's strongest teams battle for the championship title.
