MALÉ — Due to adverse weather conditions in the capital, The Traveller Umrah Group has announced a last-minute venue change for tonight's lecture featuring renowned scholar Sheikh Assim Al-Hakeem.
The lecture, originally scheduled to take place at a different location, will now be held at the King Salman Mosque Auditorium in Malé at 8:30 PM tonight.
The Traveller Umrah Group, which is organizing the event, confirmed the update earlier today. All attendees are advised to proceed directly to the new venue.
"We regret any inconvenience caused by this sudden change. However, the safety and comfort of our guests remain our highest priority given the current bad weather," a spokesperson for The Traveller Umrah Group stated.
The group urged attendees to exercise caution while traveling to King Salman Mosque, to allow extra travel time, and to arrive a few minutes early due to the venue change.
All events are organized by The Traveller Umrah Group with authorization from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Endowments. Attendees are advised to follow The Traveller Umrah Group's official channels for venue announcements for the remaining cities, especially given potential weather-related changes.
