Sheikh Assim Al-Hakeem Arrives in Kulhudhuffushi, Kicks Off 5-City Maldives Tour

KULHUDHUFFUSHI CITY, Maldives – April 28, 2026 – The highly anticipated Maldives lecture tour by renowned Saudi Islamic scholar Sheikh Assim Al-Hakeem officially began today, with the scholar arriving in Kulhudhuffushi City for the first of five scheduled public events.

Sheikh Assim is now in Kulhudhuffushi, where local residents and visitors from nearby islands have gathered in anticipation of tonight’s major sermon. The event is set to take place at 8:30 PM local time at HDh. Atoll Education Center in the city.

“We are honored to welcome Sheikh Assim to Kulhudhuffushi. This is a historic moment for our city and the northern region,” said a local organizer. Following the lecture, the scholar will dedicate 15 minutes to answering audience questions, a segment that has drawn particular excitement among attendees.
