“Fehi Dhirun Expo” to Celebrate Farmers’ Day, World Food Day, and Animal Day This Weekend

The Ministry of Agriculture has announced that the Fehi Dhirun Expo” will be held this Saturday to celebrate National Farmers’ Day, World Food Day, and Animal Day. The event will begin at 4:00 p.m. and will feature a wide range of activities and stalls highlighting agriculture, sustainability, and community engagement.
This Expo will showcase stalls dedicated to agriculture and livestock, mental health and disability organisations, bird feed and pet traders, and art and craft displays. Visitors will also be able to enjoy locally made soft drinks, food stalls, and interactive children’s stalls offering games and gifts.
The Ministry of Agriculture will host its own stalls at the event, featuring information booths on ministry services, photo sessions, and a wildlife quiz, among other interactive activities.
Designed to promote local produce, sustainability, and the well-being of both people and animals, the Green Life Expo aims to bring together farmers, families, and communities in celebration of the nation’s growing commitment to a greener, healthier Maldives.
