The funeral service for the six people killed in Israel’s recent attack on Doha has concluded, with the burial taking place at Mesaimeer Cemetery this evening.
The bodies of the victims were carried into Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Wahhab Mosque in the Qatari capital for funeral prayers. Five of the coffins were draped with the Palestinian flag, while one was covered with the Qatari flag. The Emir of Qatar attended the prayer alongside senior officials, family members, and hundreds of mourners.
The service was marked by deep grief and solidarity, reflecting the shared pain of Palestinians and Qataris over the incident.
The victims lost their lives in an Israeli airstrike that targeted Doha earlier this week, an escalation that drew international condemnation and heightened concerns over the widening scope of the conflict. Israel claimed the strike was aimed at what it described as Hamas-linked facilities, though Qatari authorities denounced the attack as a violation of sovereignty and international law.
The burial at Mesaimeer Cemetery followed immediately after the prayer, where mourners bid farewell to the deceased amid calls for justice and peace.
