CCTV Cameras Installation Begins in Edafushi Port Area

The Edafushi Police Station has initiated the installation of CCTV cameras in the Edafushi port area. This initiative is part of a collaborative effort between the Edafushi Police and the Edafushi Council to enhance security and create a crime-free environment in the area.
The CCTV cameras were donated by the Edafushi Council to support the local police in improving the safety of the island. Work began on May 20, with the installation process including the laying of fibre cables in the harbour area.
This development reflects the ongoing commitment of the local authorities to ensure a secure society in rural areas, fostering a safer environment for residents and visitors alike.
