President Extends Felicitations to Cuban Leadership on Anniversary of the Revolution

His Excellency President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu extended heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, President of the Republic of Cuba, and His Excellency Manuel Marrero Cruz, Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba, on the occasion of Cuba’s Anniversary of the Revolution.

In his congratulatory messages, President Dr. Muizzu conveyed warm greetings and best wishes on behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives to the Cuban leadership and its citizens. He expressed his hopes for the continued good health and well-being of the President and Prime Minister, alongside his aspirations for the progress and prosperity of the Cuban people.

The Anniversary of the Revolution, celebrated annually on January 1, marks a significant event in Cuban history. The Maldives and Cuba share a longstanding diplomatic relationship established on January 29, 1977, underscoring decades of mutual respect and cooperation.
