Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced that Aishath Himna Hassan, a promising athlete in athletics, is the recipient of the prestigious BML Sports Scholarship for 2024.
As part of the scholarship, Aishath Himna Hassan will undergo a year-long training program at the renowned SprinTec Track Club in Jamaica. This fully funded scholarship aims to support top athletes in achieving their sporting potential through access to high-performance training programs at globally recognized centers.
The BML Sports Scholarship program, managed in partnership with the Maldives Olympic Committee (MOC), reflects BML’s commitment to empowering local athletes. The Maldives Olympic Committee oversaw the rigorous selection process to identify the most deserving candidate for this opportunity.
This initiative underscores BML’s dedication to fostering athletic excellence and supporting Maldivian athletes in their journey toward international success.
