MMPRC Calls for Creative Collaborations to Showcase the Maldives

The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives), the national tourism board, has announced an exciting opportunity for local artists, videographers, cinematographers, and creative talents. The initiative invites proposals for unique video campaign ideas that celebrate the unmatched natural beauty and cultural richness of the Maldives.

This call for collaboration aims to empower local creatives and reimagine how the Maldives is portrayed to the world. Visit Maldives seeks innovative concepts that highlight the nation’s pristine beaches, vibrant marine life, and rich cultural heritage, paired with its renowned warm hospitality.

“At Visit Maldives, we recognize the power of storytelling,” said a spokesperson for MMPRC. “Through this initiative, we hope to uplift local creatives, foster growth, and showcase the incredible talent our nation has to offer. Together, we can redefine the narrative of the Maldives on a global stage.”

How to Participate

Interested individuals or teams are invited to submit their proposals by December 31, 2024. Submissions should include:

  1. A concept outline for the campaign.
  2. A brief portfolio showcasing past work.
  3. A description of how the idea aligns with Visit Maldives’ mission to promote the destination.
