Stelco Launches 7th Batch of Leadership Enhancement Program at MNDF Girifushi Training Centre

In a significant step towards strengthening leadership within the company, Stelco Maldives has officially launched the Stelco Leadership Enhancement Program - Batch 7 at the MNDF Girifushi Training Centre. The program, aimed at developing leadership skills among its staff, welcomed 51 dedicated employees for this round of training.

The initiative forms part of Stelco's broader vision to elevate leadership capacity across all levels of the organization. Speaking at the launch, Hussain Fahmy, Managing Director of Stelco, expressed his pride in the team and their commitment to continuous growth. He highlighted the company's ongoing efforts to empower employees, stating, "This program is a vital step in our continuous effort to empower our team, and it’s inspiring to see 51 of our dedicated staff members come together to sharpen their leadership skills. Their commitment to growth and excellence will undoubtedly pave the way for a successful future, both for themselves and for Stelco as a whole."

The Stelco Leadership Enhancement Program has so far trained over 368 employees, with plans to extend the opportunity to every staff member over the next 12 months. The company believes that fostering strong leadership at all levels is essential to achieving its strategic goals and enhancing overall performance.

Fahmy emphasized the long-term benefits of the initiative, noting, "This training program will not only benefit the individuals involved but will also have a lasting impact on Stelco and the nation as a whole. By investing in our people, we are investing in the future of Stelco and the broader community we serve."

The program, held in partnership with the MNDF, reflects Stelco's commitment to employee development and its mission to remain at the forefront of industry leadership in the Maldives.
