Vista Handball Academy...
Zefrol Handball Academy has officially been rebranded as Vista Handball Academy, marking a new chapter for one of the Maldives’ early handball academies.
Since its establishment in 2023, the academy has enrolled more than 900 players, providing young athletes with opportunities to learn, train and develop their handball skills.
Under its new identity, Vista Handball Academy will continue its focus on developing young players, building confidence and promoting an active lifestyle. The academy’s coaching setup includes national-level coaches, strengthening its development programme for aspiring handball players.
The academy currently conducts its handball pool practices at Kalaafaanu School, Hiriya School and Brightway School.
The programme at Kalaafaanu School has already produced notable results, with the school winning the U17 Girls and U15 Girls titles at the Raajje Junior Handball Tournament 2026.
As part of its new “Next Gen” initiative, Vista Handball Academy is also offering a new opportunity for Hulhumalé residents, with training scheduled to begin on 15 October 2026.
Training will be held three days a week from 17:00 to 18:00, at a monthly fee of MVR 500, with sessions taking place in Hulhumalé Phase 1.
The academy’s new identity carries the message “Learn, Train, Improve, Grow”, as Vista Handball Academy looks to continue developing the next generation of Maldivian handball players.
