Aasandha company has issued a tender seeking a company to develop an artificial intelligence-powered chatbot aimed at making information more accessible to its customers.According to the tender announcement, the proposed chatbot must be able to communicate in both Dhivehi and Englishand provide automated answers using information from Aasandha’s internal databases, website, regulations, policies and frequently asked questions.
The system is required to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It must also understand Dhivehi queries written in both Thaana script and Latin characters, allowing customers to communicate with the chatbot using different forms of Dhivehi.
As part of the project, Aasandha is also seeking a web-based management dashboard that will allow employees to update the chatbot’s information without needing technical or programming knowledge.
The chatbot must further include a human handover feature. When it cannot answer a customer’s question, the query should be transferred to a customer service representative or directed to Aasandha’s hotline.
Aasandha has stated that the system should be flexible enough to operate either through a cloud-based platform or on the organisation’s own internal servers.
The chatbot is primarily intended to improve access to information through the Aasandha website and My Aasandha portal. By providing automated responses to common enquiries, the initiative is expected to reduce the workload of customer service staff.
The organisation also expects the chatbot to provide useful insights into the types of questions customers frequently ask and identify areas where publicly available information may be lacking.
These insights could help Aasandha regularly improve and expand the information it provides to customers, while making it easier for users to find answers to routine questions without having to contact customer service.
