Dhiraagu has announced the continuation of its impactful partnership with Skate Maldives, reinforcing their shared mission to foster the next generation of skaters across the Maldives. Building upon its role as Development Partner for the 2023-2024 period, Dhiraagu’s renewed support signals a strong commitment to sports, youth empowerment, and community engagement.

This strategic collaboration will enable the organization and expansion of both national and international skating competitions, providing Maldivian skaters with vital platforms to showcase their talent and pursue professional growth.

Skate Maldives—the nationally registered governing body for skating—has made remarkable progress in a short span. From gaining Provisional Affiliate Membership with World Skate in 2023, the association earned full Affiliate Membership by 2024, becoming the sole authority for skating-related sports in the Maldives.
