Junior National Carrom Championship to Introduce Team Events

A new chapter in Maldivian junior carrom is set to begin with the 2nd Junior National Carrom Championship, which will introduce Junior Team Events for the first time in the Maldives.

The championship is expected to provide young carrom players with a bigger competitive platform while promoting teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship among the next generation of players.

The tournament is scheduled to begin on 24 August 2026, with participants able to register for both individual and team events.

Registration is open through the following forms:

Individual Event: Register for Individual Event

Team Event: Register for Team Event

With the introduction of the team competition, the championship is set to bring stronger teamwork, greater competition and new opportunities for young players to emerge as future champions of Maldivian carrom.
