BML Inter-Office Beach Handball Championship Returns Bigger Than Ever

The BML One Game Inter-Office Beach Handball Championship – Malé Edition 02 is set to bring together a record 27 teams from 20 different organisations, making it one of the biggest inter-office beach handball tournaments ever held in the Maldives.

The championship will run from 2 August to 14 August, featuring 16 teams in the women's division and 11 teams in the men's division, with teams competing for the coveted championship titles.

In the men's division, the 11 participating teams will be divided into three groups. The top two teams from each group, along with the two best third-placed teams, will advance to the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, the women's division will feature 16 teams split into four groups, with the top two teams from each group progressing to the quarter-finals.

The tournament is being organised in affiliation with Handball Maldives and Thulhaadhoo Young Eagle Sports, and is endorsed by the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Fitness, highlighting its growing importance in promoting beach handball across the country.

Bank of Maldives (BML) returns as the Platinum and Title Sponsor, while STELCO joins as the Silver Sponsor.
