“Cool School” Project Begins Air-Conditioning Government Schools Across Maldives

The “Cool School” project, contracted to Fenaka Corporation Limited, has officially commenced practical work to air-condition government schools nationwide, providing a permanent solution to the heat discomfort faced by students and teachers.
Overseen by the Ministry of Education under the guidance of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, the initiative aims to ensure that all schools in the Maldives are equipped with air conditioning. Fenaka Corporation has already begun installations in schools across the Greater Male’ area, with over 75 percent of schools now fitted with indoor AC units.
The corporation is working to complete the installation in all schools in the Greater Male’ region before the start of the new academic year, ensuring a comfortable learning environment for students and staff alike.
