Vaadhoo Clinch Fifth Straight Atoll Title at HD Hyundai Golden Futsal Challenge 2026

GDh. Vaadhoo have continued their dominance in the atoll, winning the HD Hyundai Golden Futsal Challenge 2026 atoll championship for the fifth consecutive year.
In a thrilling final, Vaadhoo came from behind to defeat Hoadedhdhoo 6–4. Hoadedhdhoo took an early 2-0 lead with goals from Ismail Mamdhooh and Mohamed Iufaf Abdulla, but Vaadhoo staged a strong comeback to secure victory.
Vaadhoo’s goals were scored by Ayaz Ahmed, Mohamed Nail, Musannif Mohamed, and Yazdan Ibrahim, with Ayaz and Nail each netting two. Ayaz Ahmed was named man of the match, while Musannif Mohamed earned the accolades of best player and top scorer of the atoll.
This win adds to Vaadhoo’s impressive championship record, having lifted the atoll trophy in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and now 2026.
