Three Marriott Bonvoy Resorts in the Maldives Ranked Among Top 20 Best in Indian Ocean

The Maldives has once again proven its place among the world’s premier travel destinations, with three resorts from the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio voted among the Top 20 Best Resorts in the Indian Ocean in the prestigious Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2025.

In the 28th UK edition of the awards, which drew votes from over half a million readers, Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa ranked No. 6, The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort secured No. 7, and The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands placed No. 11 in the Top Resorts in the Indian Ocean category.

Meanwhile, in the 38th US edition of the awards — based on over 757,000 reader votesThe St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort achieved a remarkable No. 5 ranking in the same category.

Recognized globally as one of the most trusted honors in travel, the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards celebrate the finest destinations, resorts, and experiences worldwide. The accolades are particularly significant for reflecting the authentic voices and sentiments of travellers, based on their firsthand experiences.
