President Muizzu Extends Condolences to Amir of Qatar Following Tragic Car Accident in Sharm el-Sheikh

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended a message of condolence to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, following the tragic car accident in Sharm el-Sheikh today that claimed the lives of three Qatari officials and injured two others.
In his message, President Dr Muizzu expressed deep sorrow upon learning of the accident, which occurred while officials of the Amiri Diwan were on duty ahead of tomorrow’s international summit on ending the war in Gaza.
The President conveyed that the Government and the people of the Maldives join him in offering heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of Qatar. He also extended prayers for strength and patience to the bereaved families during this time of profound grief and wished the injured officials a swift and full recovery.
