BML Expands ATM Network to Th. Buruni Under “Mulhi Raajje ah BML ATM” Initiative

Bank of Maldives (BML) has inaugurated self-service banking ATM services in Th. Buruni, further strengthening its nationwide banking accessibility drive under the “Mulhi Raajje ah BML ATM” initiative.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, Cabinet Ministers, BML Chairperson Ahmed Ali Habeeb, CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef, and senior officials of the Bank.

Speaking at the event, BML CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef highlighted the Bank’s commitment to community accessibility:

As part of this initiative, BML will launch ATM services in an additional 8 islands in Th. Atoll this week, achieving full ATM coverage across all inhabited islands in the atoll.

The expansion reaffirms BML’s position as the leading financial institution in the Maldives, with a wide-reaching network of 42 branches across all 20 atolls, 171 Self Service Banking Centres, 229 ATMs, and advanced Digital Banking solutions. The Bank continues to enhance financial inclusion and accessibility through innovative services tailored for communities nationwide.
