CBHC25: Maldives Triumph Over Bangladesh to Claim Bronze Medal

Kulhudhuffushi City erupted with joy as Maldives claimed the bronze medal, defeating Bangladesh 2–1 in sets in front of their home fans at the Commonwealth Beach Handball Championship 2025.
Bangladesh started strong, edging the first set 25–20 through the sharp finishing of Md. Khokon Molla. But Maldives came roaring back, dominating the second set 22–12 as Ahmed Razunee led the charge with a commanding performance.
The contest came down to a tense shootout, where Maldives held their nerve to triumph 7–4, sealing the victory and ensuring a historic podium finish on home soil.

With this result, Maldives take home the bronze medal, while Bangladesh finish in 4th place after a spirited campaign.
