Aiman Crowned Champion of Ooredoo Nation EAFC Elite Showdown 2025

Ooredoo Nation has successfully concluded the Elite Showdown 2025 – EAFC Series, a thrilling esports tournament featuring the popular football video game EAFC. The event took place at the Ooredoo Maldives Headquarters in Hulhumalé and followed a single-elimination format.
A total of 24 participants competed for a share of the MVR 10,000 prize pool, which was awarded to the top three players:
- Champion: Mohamed Aiman – MVR 5,000
- 2nd Place: Abdulla Maahil – MVR 3,000
- 3rd Place: Mohamed Zameel – MVR 2,000
The closing ceremony was attended by officials from the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment, as well as the Racing Association of the Maldives.
To wrap up the evening, winners Mohamed Aiman and Mohamed Zameel treated spectators to a friendly exhibition match on the newly released FC26, offering the community an exciting first look at the future of competitive football gaming.
