Kuda Villingili Promotes Abdulla Alim to Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications

Kuda Villingili Resort Maldives has announced the promotion of Abdulla Alim to Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications. Alim joined the resort in 2023 as Marketing & Communications Manager and has since played a central role in strengthening its global profile and achieving key milestones.

Within two years, his leadership helped position Kuda Villingili among the Top 10 Resorts in the Indian Ocean at major travel industry awards. He also spearheaded the launch of the resort’s redesigned, SEO-optimised website and introduced digital campaigns that boosted brand visibility and direct bookings.

With more than a decade of hospitality marketing experience, Alim has held roles at Vakkaru Maldives and CROSSROADS Maldives, working with global brands such as Hilton and Hard Rock International. His expertise spans brand development, PR, digital strategy, influencer collaborations, content creation, and social media.

In his new role, Alim will oversee strategic marketing initiatives including integrated campaigns, public relations, and digital marketing, with a focus on strengthening brand positioning, expanding awareness in key source markets, and driving long-term revenue growth.
