Twin Brothers Arrested in Hulhumalé Drug Raid

The Maldives Police Service has arrested twin brothers in connection with a drug-related case following a raid on an apartment in Hulhumalé.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), police confirmed that two 28-year-old Maldivian nationals—identified as Ahmed Raif Yousuf and Raig Yousuf from M. Alivahaa—were taken into custody during a joint operation on suspicions of drug possession.
Police stated that the arrests followed a court-authorized search of their apartment, during which officers discovered substances suspected to be drugs. In addition to the suspected narcotics, police also seized a weed grinder, vapes, vape flavor bottles, and a knife.
The case remains under active investigation by the authorities.
