President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed welcomed members of the public to Mulee'aage, the official residence of the President, to extend Eid al-Fitr greetings today. The gathering, held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., provided an opportunity for citizens to exchange warm wishes with the First Couple on this joyous occasion.
The event was attended by Cabinet ministers, ministerial-ranked officials, members of parliament, state ministers, foreign diplomats, heads of government offices, and senior officials from various sectors. Members of the general public and their families were also present, creating a vibrant atmosphere of unity and celebration.
In addition to the gathering at Mulee'aage, the President and First Lady will participate in the official Eid celebrations hosted by the Maldives National Defence Force this evening.
