President Muizzu Extends Greetings on Palestine's Independence Anniversary

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has conveyed heartfelt greetings and good wishes to the leadership of Palestine on the occasion of the Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of Palestine.
In messages addressed to President Dr. Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Mohammad Mustafa, President Muizzu expressed profound admiration for the resilience and courage of the Palestinian people in their struggle against oppression and injustice.
Reaffirming the Maldives' steadfast solidarity, President Muizzu emphasized the country's unwavering support for the establishment of an independent and sovereign State of Palestine, based on the pre-1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
He concluded the messages by wishing the Palestinian leadership and people peace, prosperity, and progress in their pursuit of justice and self-determination.
